The policy, in full
1. Who processes your payment
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Limited (razorpay.com), a payments company with its registered office in Bengaluru. quietlybuild uses Razorpay’s standard checkout, on GrowMint Media’s Razorpay account.
quietlybuild is run by GrowMint Media (proprietor Aditya Vashistha), Phagwara, Punjab 144401, India; the full postal address is given by email and on every invoice.
2. Ways to pay
Razorpay’s payment window shows the ways to pay that are available to you, such as UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. Which ones appear can depend on your bank, your card and your device. The price is the same whichever you choose.
3. How your payment is kept secure
- You enter your card, UPI or bank details in Razorpay’s payment window, which opens over my page. Inside some apps’ built-in browsers, such as Instagram’s, it opens as a Razorpay page instead. Either way, your details go to Razorpay, not to quietlybuild.in.
- I never see or store your card number, your UPI PIN or your bank login. From Razorpay I receive the payment’s ID, its status, the amount and the kind of method used, such as UPI or card.
- Razorpay may ask for your mobile number in its window and uses it under its own privacy policy. I don’t keep it.
- My site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Before your files are released, my server checks with Razorpay that the payment is genuine and has gone through in full.
4. Fees
I charge no fee for any way of paying, and nothing is added at checkout: the price on the product page is the total you pay, GST included. Razorpay’s charges are paid by me. If your own bank charges you a fee on a transaction, that is set by your bank, not by me.
5. What your statement shows
Your bank or card statement will show GrowMint Media, not quietlybuild. Razorpay’s own payment confirmation may show GrowMint Media too. GrowMint Media is the business that runs quietlybuild and holds the Razorpay account, so a payment under that name for your order is a payment to quietlybuild. The name quietlybuild appears in the payment window and on your GST tax invoice, beside GrowMint Media.
6. One-time payments only
Every purchase is a single payment. I don’t sell subscriptions, I don’t set up automatic debits or mandates, and I never charge your card or account again without a new purchase by you. There are no regular payments, so there is nothing to cancel later.
7. If a payment fails or goes wrong
- If Razorpay shows that a payment failed, your order isn’t placed. You can try again, or choose another way to pay.
- If money left your account but the payment shows as failed, your bank or Razorpay normally returns it automatically. If it hasn’t come back within the time your bank gives, write to me with the date, the amount and your order number, and I will check it with Razorpay.
- If you were charged twice for one order, or charged more than the price shown, write to me and I refund the extra in full.
8. Refunds
Refunds go back to the method you paid with, through Razorpay, within 7 working days of my agreeing them with you. Your bank may take a few more days to show the money. When you are entitled to a refund is set out in Refunds and cancellations.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If something is wrong with a payment, please write to me first at hello@quietlybuild.in. I will refund any payment taken in error.
You can also raise a dispute, known as a chargeback, with your bank or card issuer under its own rules, or raise a complaint about a UPI payment through your UPI app or your bank. If a dispute is raised, I answer it through Razorpay with the order’s records: the payment, the invoice, and the delivery and download history.
10. Contacting Razorpay
For anything about your order, write to me first. For questions about Razorpay itself, or if a payment problem isn’t resolved with me, Razorpay’s own channels are:
- Razorpay support: razorpay.com/support
- Razorpay grievance redressal: razorpay.com/grievance-redressal
