The terms, in full
1. These terms
These terms apply to every purchase on quietlybuild.in. When you buy, they form the contract between you and me, together with the product page as it stood when you paid and these policies: Refunds and cancellations, Delivery and shipping, Payments and the Privacy notice.
The version number and date at the top of this page show which version is in force. The version in force on the day you pay applies to that purchase. I keep every earlier version and will send you any of them if you ask.
2. Who sells to you
quietlybuild is run by GrowMint Media (proprietor Aditya Vashistha), Phagwara, Punjab 144401, India; the full postal address is given by email and on every invoice.
quietlybuild is the name this business uses for this website and its products. In these terms, “I”, “me” and “my” mean the business, and “you” means the person buying.
You can write to me at hello@quietlybuild.in. I don’t take telephone calls, so everything is in writing and there is always a record. The grievance officer, and how complaints are handled, are on the Contact and complaints page.
3. Who can buy
- At launch I sell only to buyers who live in India. The checkout asks for your state or union territory, because it decides the GST on your invoice.
- You must be 18 or over.
- You can buy for yourself or for your business. If you buy for a business, you confirm that you may act for it.
4. Prices, GST and payment
- Every price is in Indian rupees and includes GST at 18%. The price on the product page is the total you pay. There are no delivery charges and no fees for any payment method.
- The checkout shows how the GST in the price is split for your state: CGST and SGST if you are in Punjab, IGST anywhere else in India.
- Each purchase is one payment. There are no subscriptions, and nothing renews.
- Payments are taken by Razorpay. The Payments page covers the ways to pay, security, what your bank statement shows, and chargebacks.
- I don’t run sales or time-limited offers, and I never show an earlier price crossed out. If a price is ever reduced, the lowest price of the 30 days before the reduction will be shown beside the new one.
- A change of price never affects an order you have already paid for.
5. How an order is made
- You choose a product and press Buy. My checkout asks for your email address, your name and your state or union territory. If you want the invoice in your business’s name, you can add your GSTIN and business details.
- You tick a box to confirm that you understand how refunds work for digital files. The box is never ticked for you.
- Razorpay’s payment window opens, and you pay there.
- When Razorpay confirms your payment, the contract is made and your order is accepted.
If something stops me supplying an order after you have paid, for example a technical fault I cannot fix, I cancel the order and refund you in full.
6. Your GST tax invoice
Every order gets a GST tax invoice, numbered in sequence for the financial year. It shows the seller’s full postal address and GSTIN, your state (the place of supply), the GST split and the Razorpay payment ID.
If you add your GSTIN at checkout, the invoice is made out to your business, so you can claim input tax credit on it where the GST rules allow it for you. If an order is refunded, I issue a credit note.
7. Delivery
Files on screen straight after payment, and by email. Nothing physical is sent. The Delivery and shipping policy explains how your files reach you, how long download links last, and what to do if something doesn’t arrive.
8. Updates and editions
Free updates for 12 months from your purchase date, including any new edition released in that time. New editions and corrected files appear among your files in Your orders, and each product keeps a public list of what changed and when.
After those 12 months you can go on using the edition you have for as long as you like. If you then want a later edition, you can buy the current one at the renewal price for earlier buyers, shown on its product page. Nothing renews automatically, and nothing is charged without a new purchase by you.
9. Your licence
When you buy a kit, you buy a licence to use its files. Copyright in the files stays with me. The licence starts when your payment is confirmed and has no end date.
The Export Desk: a business licence
- It is for one business: a sole proprietor, or a studio of up to five people working in one business.
- You may use, edit and adapt every template for any number of your own clients, and give a client a filled-in copy of a document made for them.
- The guide and the specimens are for reading within your business.
- If more than five people in your business will use the kit, write to me first.
Kits for one person: a personal licence
Some kits are licensed to one person, and their product page says so before you buy. A personal licence lets one person use the files for their own work and their own plans. You may show your filled-in copies to your own advocate or chartered accountant.
For every kit
- Don’t resell, share, upload or publish the files, whether blank or as templates, and don’t use them to make a product that competes with them.
- A bundle gives you each kit in it under that kit’s own licence.
- Each kit includes a LICENCE.txt file that repeats its licence. If that file and this page ever differ, the wording that is more favourable to you applies.
- If the files are shared or sold in breach of the licence, the licence ends and those copies must be deleted.
10. Information, not advice
The kits are templates, checklists and plain explanations of Indian rules as I read them on the date shown in each kit, with their sources listed. They are general information, not tax, legal or financial advice, and buying one doesn’t make me your adviser. Your situation may differ from the examples, and rules can change after a kit’s date. Check anything you rely on with your own chartered accountant or advocate: they have the last word.
A product page says that a professional has read a kit only when one has, and has agreed in writing to be described that way.
11. Refunds and cancellations
The full policy is on the Refunds and cancellations page. In short:
- If a file is faulty, doesn’t arrive, or isn’t what its page describes, write within 14 days of your purchase. I fix it or replace it, and if I can’t, I refund you in full.
- If you haven’t downloaded anything, you can cancel within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.
- Digital files can’t be returned, so a change of mind isn’t refundable once you’ve downloaded the files.
- I never charge a fee to cancel.
12. My responsibility to you
I take care that every kit is accurate on the date it shows, and I correct mistakes I find, or am told about, through the updates in section 8.
Because the kits are general templates and information, I am not responsible for a loss that comes from using them without checking your own situation with a professional, or from a change in the rules after a kit’s date. Where I am responsible to you, my total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. None of this limits any responsibility that the law does not allow me to limit, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Your information
I use the details you give at checkout to take your payment, deliver your files and issue your invoice. The Privacy notice explains what I keep, who processes it for me, for how long, and your rights.
14. Questions and complaints
Write to hello@quietlybuild.in, or use the form on the Contact and complaints page. Every complaint gets a ticket number. I acknowledge it within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can also contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or at consumerhelpline.gov.in.
15. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms, for example when a product is added or a law changes. Each update gets a new version number and date at the top of this page. A change applies to purchases made after it is published, not to orders already paid for, unless it gives you more rights.
16. Law and disputes
- Law
- Governed by Indian law; nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- Disputes
- Please write to me first, so that I can try to put things right. You can also take a complaint to a consumer commission under that Act.
- If one part fails
- If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
